Scholarship Programs
Financial assistance opportunities at SZABIST Hyderabad
SZABIST Merit Scholarships
SZABIST Merit-Based Scholarship will be awarded from second semester onward, and is renewable for each semester depending on student's performance.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Awarded from second semester onward
- 50% tuition fee waiver for highest semester GPA
- Minimum 3.70 semester GPA required
- Full course load required in regular semesters (Fall and Spring)
- Renewable each semester based on performance
- No extra or repeat courses allowed
- Transfer/Open students are not eligible
- External Programs, EMBA, MS and PhD students cannot avail this scholarship
Note: If there is more than one student with the same GPA, scholarship will be
awarded based on percentage of marks. The scholarship program can be withdrawn at any time as approved
by the Academic Council.
External Donor Scholarships
SZABIST also awards scholarships in collaboration with external donor agencies:
- USAID Scholarships - United States Agency for International Development
- Sindh Endowment Fund - Provincial government scholarship program
- National ICT R&D Fund - For Computer Science students
Need Based Scholarship
SZABIST Need-Based Scholarship is offered every semester (Fall and Spring).
Eligibility:
- Need and merit assessment by SZABIST
- Panel interview required
- Minimum 2.5 CGPA required for renewal in second semester

The Prime Minister's National ICT Scholarship program is for students of Information Technology subjects. At SZABIST, the ICT scholarship helps support students from the Computer Science department.
Program Details:
- Specifically for Computer Science students
- Funded by National ICT R&D Fund
- Covers tuition and other educational expenses

- Scholarships are awarded based on merit, need, and availability of funds
- Students must maintain the required CGPA to continue receiving scholarships
